Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate

C.G. Jung

Hi, I’m Jane McCourt. I’m a therapist, coach, and founder of Spring to Wellness. My journey into this work started many years ago when I became drawn to functional medicine, holistic health, and the big questions of what helps us heal, grow, and thrive.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades in Human Resources. No matter the role I held, I kept seeing the same truth: people thrived when their mental health, relationships, and sense of purpose were supported. That insight eventually pushed me to follow my heart and return to school to become a mental health professional.

Now, as a licensed social worker and certified brain health coach, I get to do what I love most—walk alongside people as they navigate challenges, heal from pain, and rebuild their strengths. My approach is trauma-informed and highly personalized, because I believe no two people’s journeys are the same. I draw on a wide range of tools—from healthy lifestyle, mindfulness, EMDR, play therapy, expressive arts to CBT, DBT, IFS, SFBT—to meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.

I also continue to consult with organizations on creating trauma-informed workplaces and cultures of wellbeing, because I believe mental health belongs in every space where people live and work.

I was born in Ukraine and bring a multicultural perspective to my work. As a Soviet Jew raised at the crossroads of multiple ideologies and traditions, I have a deep appreciation for cultural complexity and spiritual diversity, community and intergenerational trauma. I speak Russian and Ukrainian, and I know how much our stories are shaped by the places and people we come from.

At the heart of everything I do are empathy, authenticity, and gratitude. I believe life is always changing—and with resilience, adaptability, and support, we can keep growing.  Above all, I am here to support you in finding clarity, healing, and purpose—so that you can create the healthier, happier life you deserve.

With kindness,

Jane McCourt

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at hello@springtowellness.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Spring to Wellness is a psychotherapy practice and coaching service that provides personalized support to help people achieve their health goals. In addition, Spring to Wellness partners with organizations to provide wellbeing strategy and programming.

We encourage you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and objectives.  While we employ holistic approach no matter how we engage, therapy is best suited for those who aim to address a specific mental health concern, while coaching is best suited for those who wish to focus on the overall wellbeing, life transitions, and personal growth.  Both have limitations: for instance, a coach is unable to use EMDR, an evidence-based treatment for trauma, while a therapist will not be able to fully apply functional medicine tools and spend as much time on client's personal and professional development.  In many ways, therapy is prescribed by your insurance contract, while with coaching, we have the flexibility to structure our work.

Please note that it is unethical for a licensed clinician to maintain a dual relationship with the client; because of this, unfortunately, you cannot participate in both therapy and coaching, or switch once you become a client.  However, we will do our best to ensure continuity of care by revisiting our intervention and/or referring you to another practitioner should you require additional support.

Spring to Wellness is located in Cleveland, Ohio; we are currently licensed to provide psychotherapy only in Ohio. However, our coaching and workplace mental health services are available globally.

Spring to Wellness takes your privacy very seriously.  It complies with HIPAA and other regulations that serve to protect your personal and health information.  We utilize HIPAA-compliant medical records and communication tools. Please review our Privacy Policy linked on the bottom of the page.

Spring to Wellness accepts many insurances for psychotherapy. Copays and deductibles are due at the time of service.  For in-network services, we bill insurance; for out-of-network services, we can provide a superbill.  We also accept self-pay for clients who do not have insurance or wish not to use their insurance.

Pricing varies depending on the service. Coaching and workplace programs are not covered by insurance.  Psychotherapy may be covered by insurance.

Typically, clients pay for services with a credit/debit card at the time of purchasing coaching sessions or at the time of a psychotherapy session.  We accept HSA and FSA debit cards. If you require a different payment arrangement, such as cash, personal check, or money order, please notify us in advance of your session.

To best support all of our clients, we request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling of therapy or coaching sessions. We understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can arise.  Please review our Terms of Service for additional information.
